Welcome to Reception

For Reception, the school day starts at 8:55am and finishes at 3:25pm.

Mrs Christopher is responsible for leading the Early Years Foundation Stage at Lincoln Carlton Academy.

The class teacher in Robins class is called Mrs Christopher and her teaching assistant is called Mrs Richardson.

The class teacher in Blackbirds class is called Miss McCann and her teaching assistant is called Mrs Sheriff. 

There is an opportunity for you to meet your child's new class teacher on Tuesday 16th September at 2:30pm.

PE Days

During Autumn 1 (3rd September until 24th October), Reception will have PE in the hall on a Monday morning. Earrings should be removed and long hair should be tied back.   

Phonics Meeting for new Reception Parents - Wednesday 24th September 2025 from 5:30 - 6:15pm. Come and find out how we are teaching your children to read. 

The Reception and Year 1 Disco is taking place on Thursday 12th February 2026 from 3:30 - 4:45pm. Details on how to book your child's place will follow nearer the time. 

Parent's evening takes place on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th November 2025. Details on how to book an appointment will be sent nearer the time.
