Welcome to Year 4

In Year 4, the school day starts at 8:50am and finishes at 3:30pm.

Miss Michalke is the class teacher in Barons class.

Miss Wroe is the class teacher in Romans class.

PE Days

During the Spring term (January to April), Year 4 will have PE inside on a Monday afternoon and outside on a Wednesday afternoon. They should come to school dressed in their PE kit on these days please. Earrings should be removed and long hair should be tied back. 

World Book Day takes place on Thursday 5th March 2026. Children are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character or wear their pyjamas for the day!

The Year 4 and Year 5 Disco is taking place on Thursday 30th April 2026 from 4:30 - 5:45pm. Details on how to book your child's place will follow nearer the time. 

Parent's evening takes  place on Tuesday 10th and Thursday 12th March 2026. Details on how to book an appointment will be sent nearer the time. 

The Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 Sports Afternoon will take place on Wednesday 20th May 2026 from 1:30pm until the end of the school day. 

The Multiplication Check takes place week beginning Monday 1st June 2026. There is a link to an information leaflet below. 

The end of Year 4 celebration event will take place in classrooms on Monday 6th July 2026 at 3pm.
