Welcome to Year 5

In Year 5, the school day starts at 8:50am and finishes at 3:30pm.

Miss Martin is the class teacher in Galileo class.

Mrs Walker is the class teacher in Newton class.

PE Days

During the Summer term (April to July), Year 5 will have PE outside on a Tuesday and a Wednesday afternoon. They should come to school dressed in their PE kit on these days please. Earrings should be removed and long hair should be tied back. 

The Year 4 and Year 5 Disco is taking place on Thursday 30th April 2026 from 4:30 - 5:45pm. Details on how to book your child's place will follow nearer the time. 

The Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 Sports Afternoon will take place on Wednesday 20th May 2026 from 1:30pm until the end of the school day. 

The end of Year 5 celebration event will take place in classrooms on Friday 3rd July 2026 at 3pm.
