Welcome to Year 6

In Year 6, the school day starts at 8:50am and finishes at 3:30pm.

Mrs Wright is the class teacher in Lancaster class.

Miss Cropper is the class teacher in Spitfire class. 

PE Days

During the Spring term (January to Easter) Year 6 will have PE outside on a Friday afternoon and inside on a Wednesday afternoon. They should come to school dressed in their PE kit on these days please. Earrings should be removed and long hair should be tied back. 

World Book Day takes place on Thursday 5th March 2026. Children are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character or wear their pyjamas for the day!

SATS Week for Year 6 will be Monday 11th May 2026. There is a link to an information leaflet below. A meeting for parents will be held in the spring term. 

Parent's evening takes place on Tuesday 10th and Thursday 12th March 2026. Details on how to book an appointment will be sent nearer the time. 

The Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 Sports Afternoon will take place on Wednesday 20th May 2026 from 1:30pm until the end of the school day.

Year 6 Parent SHARE - Thursday 2nd July at 3:00pm.

The Year 6 Performance will take place on Wednesday 8th July at 6pm and Thursday 9th July at 1:30pm and 6pm. Information regarding the purchase of tickets will be sent nearer the time.

End of Year Reports out to parents - Friday 10th July 2026.

Year 6 Leaver's Disco - Wednesday 15th July 2026 at 5:30pm until 7:00pm.
